The Fine Print
We never want our clients to feel rushed. When planning your day, please be sure to leave plenty of time for your salon services. A typical haircut and highlight appointment will last 3+ hours or more. Addling specialty services such as toners, blow outs and smoothing treatments can further extend time. If you have any questions about the length of your appointment, don’t hesitate to call us.
Blow Dry & Finish Out
If you are getting any color service by itself and you would like to request a specific stylist to blow dry your hair, there will be a $25 charge added to the total service.
All bridal and bridal party services will need to prepay half the cost of services with a credit card before securing the date. Cancellations to any bridal services within 48 hours will be charged the full amount.
Cancellations and Missed Appointments
Appointments that are cancelled with less than 24-hours’ notice will incur a 20% cancellation fee. If you do not show up for an appointment, you will be charged 20% of your service total.
We love children and welcome them into the salon. However, for their safety and for the enjoyment of other guests in the salon, we ask that you don’t leave children under 12 unattended in the salon, even during their own appointments. If children do accompany you to your appointment, we ask that they stay with you at all times.
Please note that any content submitted to Happy Salon and Spa in the form of social media or before-and-after pictures taken in the salon may be used in advertising or on social media. For any content that you submit, you grant Happy Salon & Spa a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, and/or distribute such content, and/or incorporate such content into any form, medium or technology throughout the world without compensation to you. You further release and waive all claims against Happy Salon & Spa with respect to any intellectual property or other proprietary rights, rights of publicity and privacy, rights of attribution, or any other liability under the governing law of the United States.
First time VoMor customers are required to have a consultation before booking. If you are a VoMor customer and need to order custom hair, you will need to pre-pay the full amount of the extensions before the appointment date.
We’re honored whenever our clients choose to give the gift of Happy to their friends, colleagues and family members! Gift cards are available for purchase at the salon in any denomination, and can be customized to the needs and experience you have in mind for the recipient.
Issues and Concerns
If you’re not happy, we’re not happy. If you’re ever unhappy with a service you’ve received, please let us know within two weeks of the original service and we’ll schedule a complimentary appointment with your original stylist to address your concerns. Refunds will not be given.
All new guests are asked to arrive 15 min early to fill out new guest forms. If you like, feel free to bring pictures to inspire and inform your stylist; all of our stylists have Instagram accounts and are happy to communicate via Instagram as well.
Payment & Billing
We accept cash and all major credit cards. We not accept checks, Venmo, PayPal, or Bitcoin. All guests are asked to secure their appointments using a credit card. Please note, your card will only be charged 20% of your service total in the event of a cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment.
If you’re unhappy with any product purchased, just bring it back with your original receipt within 30 days. As long more than 75% of the product remains, we’ll be happy to issue a refund or swap it out for another product of your choice. Please note that all jewelry, hairbrushes, hair accessories and hot tools are final sale, with no returns or exchanges.
Our favorite new clients are the friends and family of current clients. We do have a referral program—ask your stylist for details.
We understand there are times you may be running late. Please call if you will be more than 15 minutes late so we can let your stylist know. Due to the timing necessary for delivering top quality services, a delay of more than 15 minutes could result in the need to re-book.
If you have had an allergic reaction to waxing in the past, or if you are on any medications that may cause skin sensitivity, you must disclose this information prior to your appointment. In these situations, it is best to consult with your doctor before scheduling waxing. We reserve the right to refuse service.
Wi-Fi and Personal Devices
We are happy to offer wi-fi at Happy. Please feel free to bring your laptop, tablet, or iPad to your appointment. To continue the relaxing environment of the salon, we ask that all ringers be turned to silent or vibrate, and that devices be used on silent or with headphones.
